Among the highlights is a set of latex and Perspex masks of the Star Wars characters Greedo and Admiral Ackbar, from 1997 and Darth Vadar and Storm Trooper from 1998. Greedo was a male Rodian bounty hunter who was occasionally hired by the crimelord Jabba the Hutt for various mercenary jobs, including the capture of Han Solo. Admiral Ackbar was a member of the amphibious Mon Calamari species and military commander of the Rebel Alliance who led major combat operations against the Galactic Empire.
His character played a supporting role in the 1983 film Return of the Jedi, and later became a prominent character in the novels, comic books and other media in the Star Wars series. Darth Vadar, also known as Anakin Skywalker, is one of the most well-known characters from the films. He appears in the original trilogy as a central figure and his actions drive the plot of the first three Star Wars films, while his past as Anakin Skywalker, and the story of his corruption, is central to the prequel trilogy.
The storm Troopers are the main ground force of the Galactic Empire, under the leadership of Emperor Palpatine and his commanders, one of which is Darth Vadar. Their effectiveness in combat, as well as their harsh reputation are the reason they are deployed in most of the military engagements of the Galactic Empire in the films. They are shown across the series in groups of various sizes, ranging from squads to legions and some of them have their armour modified for special operations and environments. The estimate for the group of masks is £50-£80.
A toy figure of Logray, the Ewok Medicne Man dates from 1983. This highly collectable piece was produced by British toy company Palitoy, who have manufactured some of the most popular toys in Britain, e.g. Action Man, Tiny Tears and the Care Bears. In the Star Wars film series Ewok first appears with Princess Leia on planet Endor. The figure, which is still in its original box, is estimated to fetch £40-£60.
A film poster promoting the original Star Wars film was produced by Zig Zag posters and features and the main characters in action. The poster is being sold with five other posters for the movies Star Wars Episode II and a 1980s Star Wars lunch box and flask. It has a group estimate of £40-£60.
