YOUNG GUNS OF THE ANTIQUES TRADE EXHIBIT AT THE ESHER HALL ANTIQUES & FINE ART FAIR Two Young Guns of the Antiques Trade are exhibiting at The Esher Hall Antiques & Fine Art Fair at Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey KT10 9AJ
News-Antique.com - Oct 07,2013 - Young Guns of the Antiques Trade are dealers, aged between 15 and 39, who demonstrate a real and heartfelt commitment to the antiques trade with the confidence to encourage other young people to join the trade and visit antique shops.
New to the fair this year is Young Gun Daniel Larsson, an antiques dealer from Helsingborg in Sweden bringing Gustavian style painted furniture which is now very much in vogue. The look is a perfect combination of Swedish restraint and the French decorative style which compliments any interior creating a timeless and unfussy effect. Highlights on his stand, D.Larsson Interiör & Antikhandel, include a Swedish transitional Empire console table, c 1810 for £7,500, a pair of Swedish 19th century Empire mirrors with two candle arms at the base of each mirror for £3,900 and an 18th century Swedish Rococo dressing mirror.
The second Young Gun is Robbie Timms of S & S Timms Antiques from Bedfordshire who has successfully exhibited at the annual Esher event, organised by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited, since its inception five years ago. He is bringing a stunning early George III period mahogany linen press with a detailed swan neck pediment for £12,750.
The fair is vetted with a dateline of 1970 for most disciplines.
