A highlight of the sale includes still life paintings by Davis Chiodo. Three vibrant floral still-lifes (Lots 1-3), direct from the artist’s collection, usher in the auction. The colors and patterns throughout the works invoke a playful sense of summer. Also featured in the upcoming auction are multiple lots of vintage cameras (Lots 247-267) including Leica, Yashica, Rolleiflex Hasselblad and Polaroid. Alongside these unique cameras, Gray’s Auctioneers is offering several lots of manuals related to the cameras, and numerous lots of camera accessories.
The auction also features a selection of Chinese and Japanese decorative lots. The highlights include Lot 208 a stunning pair of Meiji period cloisonné vases decorative with a plum blossom motif.
