With the great number of trade shows that are held in Las Vegas every year, including two major design industry events at the nearby World Market Center (WMC), Sin City Pickers Antiques & Collectibles Mall offers exhibit designers a local source for goods and services.
Located at 10 W. Wyoming just north of the Stratosphere Tower between Main St. & Commerce, Sin City Pickers Mall boasts 12,000 square feet filled with a huge inventory of unique, desirable product from antiques to retro/vintage, from shabby to chic to contemporary. With 30-plus dealers in house there is plenty of variety to choose from.
Later this month, WMC will host Las Vegas Market, where hundreds of exhibitors display their latest wares for thousands of visiting designers, buyers, and related industry business. Like many other trade shows held in Las Vegas, this twice-yearly event brings staging designers from around the country and the world who often need to find a local source offering outstanding goods, within budget, to complete their project.
“We can assist those designers by providing that wow-factor piece, and/or, smaller decorative objects in just about any style they desire.” A spokesperson for Sin City Pickers added, “If by any chance we don’t have the desired product, we will be happy to refer one or more of the other shops and malls in our area network. We will even provide a free map!”
Many of the Sin City Pickers’ dealers are experienced working with designers, merchandisers, and exhibitors on a regular basis. Among them are several talented local artists and designers. One of the newest dealers on board, Rick Bart, has an extensive background in the world of design and is probably most recognized as the former, longtime Design Coordinator for all the Brown Jordan Showrooms
throughout this country.
Now retired, Bart recently teamed up with business partner, artist/picker/entrepreneur, Mark Macdougall, to open a shop within Sin City Pickers Mall. Bart knows the industry needs so well, he is confident designers will be pleased to find the enormous selection of quality product, along with the friendly service at this Las Vegas antiques and collectibles mall.
