A native of Lancashire, England, David comes to Garth’s with a lifelong passion for antiques including a Bachelors with Honours in Fine Arts Valuation from Southampton Solent University, Southampton, England. David successfully attained his degree while continuing a 25-year career as a police officer which included positions with the Lancashire Police Art and Antiques Division, the Armed Response Officer Team (SWAT), and the Special Branch as a protection officer to members of the Royal family and government leadership. In the United States, David has used his tactical experience in the British police department to become an NRA accredited Handgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer, teaching over 120 students each month in the central Ohio area.
David’s lifelong immersion in the world of firearms, fine art and decorative arts brought him to Garth’s in March 2013.
