News-Antique.com - Feb 05,2013 - Increasing your knowledge of appraisal writing and becoming cognizant of appraisal techniques are accomplished by completing the NEAA Core Course in Appraisal Methodology. The course will be offered in Nashville, Tennessee at the Club Hotel and Suites(615-883-0500) April 8-12, 2013. The NEAA course uses David Maloney's Textbook "Appraising Personal Property:Principles and Methodology" 5th edition and will be taught by Edward T. Tuten NEAA Certified and Carol Wamble, NEAA, ISA CAPP. Mr. Tuten has taught for over 25 years and will offer the class a learning experience of interaction and professional growth.
Students will learn the appraisal process, methodology, principles, ethics, state and Federal regulations and legal issues as outlined in Mr. Maloney's book. You will not only learn theory but you will leave the class having written an appraisal that is USPAP compliant and you will be able to defend it!
Classes are from: 8:00AM – 4:30PM each day, with release on the Friday at 12:00PM, breakfast and cocktails are provided by the hotel
Mr. Maloney's book is not included in course registration and needs to be purchased separately, in advance and brought to class.
