Lot # 1509 - 1932 Hunchback Camerscope Stereoview Slides, Easthill Service Corp., NY, small sheet of paper included reads "Mr. Carl Laemmle Takes Pleasure in Presenting to (handwritten name "Mr. RC Cannon") an advance set of stills on "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," the gigantic production now being made at Universal City. These stills were made by an entirely new process of reproducing stereoscopic art studies ... " "Universal Pictures Corp." each still is 3.5" x 4.5, includes photographic images of the building of the sets and the Hunchback (Lon Chaney Sr.), 19 of 20 slides in original box, includes stereoscope viewer that was originally sent with slides, also includes letter from Leonard Maltin in 1991 offering to buy it from the owner.
