About The Vintage Bazaar
The Vintage Bazaar is a curated urban flea market and pop-up series that caters to a younger, vintage-loving set of shoppers in search of affordable, distinctive home decor and fashion. The first Vintage Bazaar took place February 27, 2010 at the DANK Haus in Lincoln Square. Since then the organizers have curated 8 additional pop-up events, which have taken place in vacant storefronts, warehouse spaces, and concert halls -- including a massive indoor/outdoor flea market at the Congress Theater -- previous events have been attended by over 20,000 yearly shoppers. Uptown Events LLC., is a new production company based in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. Founder Alexander Jorge serves as special events manager at the Aragon Ballroom and has worked with Jam productions, Groupon, Agency EA, Red Bull North America, Zombie Army Productions, Ton-Up Club Chicago, and Live Nation. Uptown Events’ mission is to re-expose the rich history and architecture of this almost-forgotten district through creative event planning.
