Also poised to cross the auction block are East of India Samurai figures, Edmund’s sets depicting Civil War regiments, many complete and with banners; and a large and diverse King & Country selection representing toy soldiers of every 20th and 21st century war, from World War I through the present-day Afghanistan War.
“There’s so much more in this auction. My advice to collectors is to spend some time looking through the catalog. They’re very likely to find things they’ve been looking for,” Haradin said.
Old Toy Soldier’s June 2-3 auction is an absentee, phone and Internet live bidding event that will commence at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on both days.
