News-Antique.com - Apr 13,2012 - There's still time to register for the second Midwest Antiques Forum, to be held in Cincinnati, May 4-6, 2012! We have a great lineup of speakers talking about everything from silver to glass to paintings, and incorporating the variety of early influences in the Midwest, in addition to a panel discussion about preservation and restoration. Attendees will hear lectures from Wes Cowan, star of PBS's History Detectives, who will be talking about the amazing sand bottles of Andrew Clemens, Tova Brandt, who will discuss Scandanavian influences, and Ellice Ronsheim, who will talk about how much we can learn from Midwestern portraits and landscapes. Visit www.midwestantiquesforum.com and see what we have planned. You can also find our complete schedule there with speakers and panelists, along with information about accommodations at Cincinnati's Airport Marriott, which is the forum's home base this year. More importantly, you'll find registration forms so you can sign up today!
Also, if you're an appraiser, remember that we're offering continuing education credits to members of ISA, ASA, and AAA. It will be a great time to connect and learn along with your colleagues.
