News-Antique.com - Mar 01,2012 - GRAPEVINE--A new show coming to the Grapevine Convention Center is the first of its kind in Texas. Dozens of dealers from around the state and country will be on hand with vintage items from era's spanning from Victorian times through the 1980s. The Dallas Vintage Clothing and Jewelry Show is being produced by Chicago's North Shore Flea.
"From Mad Men to Downton Abbey, this show is the place to find vintage fashions in Dallas and Texas," says promoter Melissa Sands. "There's so much interest in vintage fashion now. This show is filling a big niche."
Dealers at the show include Erik Yang, Lush Life Antiques and Janet Schwartz, Woodland Farms Vintage of Dallas; Sandy Schor & Co., and Bess and Evie’s Vintage of Fort Worth; Pure Vintage Chicago, Estate Chicago, and She Comes in Colors from Illinois; Blair Smith, Man in the Moon Antiques and Nancy Elby of Michigan; Mary Browning from Indiana; Snow Leopard Antiques from North Carolina; A Collective Nest from Oklahoma; Vintage Martini of Carrollton, Pamela Wiggins of Austin; Vintage Junkys of Colleyville and more.
The show will be open Friday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. A special early buying opportunity will be available Friday before the show opens (check web site for details). Admission to the show is $8 and early buying is $20, including readmission throughout the show.
