BOSTON, February 15, 2012 – Artfact, the leading live auction software, tools, and services provider, announced today it has named Nina Kentsis its Director of Customer Engagement. In the newly-created position, Kentsis is responsible for designing and implementing programs that focus on auctioneer and bidder experience and satisfaction across the company’s three websites: Artfact.com, AuctionZip.com, and Invaluable.com. Kentsis reports to Marketing Vice President Michael Evers.
Kentsis was previously Community Manager at Communispace Corporation, a consumer insights agency. In that position she focused on facilitating online communities for clients such as Nestle and Citibank to deliver important insights into consumer wants and needs. Before Communispace, Kentsis managed online and interactive subscription marketing programs at the New England Journal of Medicine, People Magazine and Primedia Consumer Magazines. She has also examined customer web usage for Weight Watchers.com and managed market research at Ask Jeeves.
“We’re excited to have someone with Nina’s consumer and online experience join our team,” said Evers. “The live auctions marketplace is highly dynamic, and Nina’s insights into creating vibrant online communities will be important guides as we grow our relationships with auctioneers and bidders.”
