Photo caption: Wonderful Old Lefton Kids at Pond Whimsical Figurine
This charming Lefton China porcelian bisque figurine features two children with lifelike, handpainted facial features. They are perched on rock in a water lily pond. Apparently, the girl has dropped her shoe into the pond, and the gallant little boy is attempting to recover it. She has got hold of him by the seat of of his pants to prevent his falling in! The Lefton China trademark is shown in the image. This porcelain bisque piece measures 7" long x 5.5" tall. Free from chips or cracks, it is possible the water lily originally had one more petal.
