News-Antique.com - Oct 25,2011 - Omaha, NE - October 25, 2011 – Collectors from across the globe will have the opportunity to bid on antique firearms, rare WWII firearms, and a collection of war history and militaria from the collection of John Hague and western wares from a collection owned by the actor John Crawford (“The Waltons”), on Proxibid (www.proxibid.com), the world’s largest real auction marketplace. The live auction will take place Sunday, October 30 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific with online bidding via Proxibid available at www.proxibid.com/californiauctioneers.
This auction features two sessions jam packed with rare and valuable collectibles including Machine Gun Kelly’s chrome shotgun which was given to casino owner Benny Binion by Kelly’s mother-in-law Ora Shannon, the owner of the famous Wise County Texas ranch house “where Boss Shannon and Machine Gun Kelly kept Urschel when they kidnapped him.” The shotgun was kept in Benny Binion’s vault until Binion gave it to Billy Bob Burnett (of Billy Bob's Texas, the biggest Honky Tonk in Texas) in 1985 where it was kept ultimately in Billy Bob's home behind the bar. The current owner acquired the shotgun in 1994 from Billy Bob Barnett with an historic letter of authenticity from Tex Whitson. Other items of interest in this live auction webcast include:
• Olsen-Nolte Parade Saddle
• Rock-Ola Beatles “Yellow Submarine” Jukebox
• Seeburg M100 C 1952-1953 45 rpm Jukebox (same model that was featured in “Happy Days”)
