News-Antique.com - Oct 05,2011 - Danny Berney, a retired barber will be selling his collection of early-day barber items at auction on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Although this auction will be held in Nebraska, absentee bids are welcome. Included will be a 1924 Koken barber chair, an equipment and accessories catalog printed in color with a price list supplement. Plus many other early-day barber items, such as straight-edge razors (some rare and very unique), etc. Also at auction is a miniature military hat made from a large shell casing, a Marlin (1870) pocket screwdriver, beer steins, comic books, antique bottle openers, a signed moose picture, pop bottles, an antique shadow box, tokens, dishes, Marlboro mugs, Nebraska Cornhusker items, record albums, etc. Danny is also selling many tools (not antique).
