News-Antique.com - Sep 22,2011 - ORANGE, Calif. – For one night only, on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, Don Presley Auction will be hosting an exciting auction event to be filmed for a new television series on the History Channel. Anyone who enjoys auctions is invited to attend and become a part of this special TV production.
Items to be auctioned include antique weapons, music and sports memorabilia; vintage bicycles and toys; classic cars and military memorabilia from WWI, WWII and the Civil War. The event’s guest auctioneer will be Bryan Knox of Birmingham, Ala., former winner of the International Auctioneer Championship.
Capacity is limited, and the first 300 people to pre-register by phone will be guaranteed seating. Doors will open at 4 p.m. for the preview, with the auction commencing at 5 p.m. sharp. Because the auction is being filmed for national television, all guests will be required to sign an image release upon their arrival. Additionally, attendees are requested to avoid wearing clothing with visible logos.
“This will be a catered event, and free parking will be available,” said Presley. “To thank our friends for coming out to the auction and History Channel taping, we will also be reducing the buyer’s premium to 10 percent for this particular sale. This auction is going to be a lot of fun, and I would encourage early registration.”
Directions and additional information about the items to be auctioned can be found online at www.donpresleyauction.com. To register, call 714-633-2437 or email info@donpresleyauction.com. Don Presley’s gallery is located at 1319 W. Katella Ave., Orange, CA 92867.
