News-Antique.com - Sep 19,2011 - Auctioneer, television appraiser and expert Phil Weiss will auction Movie Posters, Photographs and Hollywood Memorabilia to the highest bidder on Friday Sept. 23 beginning at 4:00 pm ET at his gallery in Oceanside NY. Some of the lots are large quantities of quality materials available for dealers to purchase for resale. The 1920s to current photographs and posters will give every movie fan something exciting to purchase.
Hollywood items Include more material from the Lester Glassner Estate featuring Photographs, with additions from other Estates including Posters, Negatives, etc. plus a fantastic photo of Rudolph Valentino, signed and Inscribed to Gertrude Lawrence, 1954 Marilyn Monroe Nude Playing Card Sets, Assortment of Large Lots of Photos, Press Kits, and a Large Collection of Movie Posters including Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy and more. Group of 11 Original Charcoal Drawings by Noted Artist Louis Lupas of Katherine Hepburn, Madge Evans, Elizabeth Bergner, Claire Booth Luce, and Others.
Large selections of Star Wars, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Drama, Comedy and Animation, along with cult favorites like Blaxploitation, Kung-Fu, Bikers, Gore and other interesting categories will be featured.
