The Esher Hall Antiques and Fine Art Fair, Surrey, UK The Esher Hall Antiques and Fine Art Fair returns to Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher, Surrey KT10 9AJ from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 October 2011 for the 4th year with a line-up of over 30 professional deal
The market for the decorative arts of the 20th century remains very popular and from M & N Oriental Rugs is a rare green silk mosque Dome rug signed by Ramezani, c1970s, priced at £10,500. M & D Moir and Solo Antiques are bringing a choice selection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau glass by well known names such as René Lalique, Emile Gallé, Daum and Legras.
Christmas is on the way and what better present to give than jewellery. A wealth of choice is available from Sue Brown and Sheldon Shapiro, both of London’s Grays Antiques Market, T Robert and Plaza who has a 1960’s sapphire and diamond ballerina ring on its stand for £8,500.
Ingrid Nilson, director of The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited says, ‘We are building on the success of three earlier fairs at Esher Hall. People come from London, Birmingham and much further afield as access is easy and there is ample free parking. Light snacks and a licensed bar are available and the fair makes for a thoroughly enjoyable day out”.
This year’s benefitting charity is The Poppy Factory, known for making poppies for The Royal British Legion since 1922. Based in Richmond, Surrey, The Poppy Factory recently announced its plans to help 500 wounded, sick and injured ex-Service men and women from across H M Forces into mainstream employment over the next five years. The staff welcome the opportunity to meet the fair’s visitors and discuss their vision for the future.
The fair is vetted with a dateline of 1970 for most disciplines.
