Petroliana, snowmobile collectibles to cross the block Sept. 24 in Jaffrey, N.H. A two-session auction featuring a lifetime single-owner collection of petroliana, automobilia, snowmobile collectibles and more will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, by Matthews Auctions in Jaffrey, N.H.
engine, some modern tools and modern equipment, a large Snap-On tool box, and a bucket lift for trucks. A preview will be held on Friday, Sept. 23, the day before the auction, from 1-6 p.m. (CST).
Matthews Auctions, LLC’s next big auction will be held Friday, Oct. 14, the day before the popular Chicagoland Petroliana & Advertising Show, held each spring and fall in Peotone, Ill. Featured will be the Jerry Parker collection (which is heavy on Atlantic items) and the Ronnie Baker collection (loaded with pump plates, license plate attachments and paper items).
The address of the venue is 710 West Street in Peotone, located just south of Chicago, off Interstate 57. The action will get underway at noon (CST). As with the Jaffrey on-site auction, online bidding will be facilitated by Proxibid. Phone and absentee bids will also be accepted.
