A replica of the Jules Rimet trophy, created so that the real trophy could be kept safe, was sold for £254,500 at a Sothebyís auction in 1997.

The continental gold 1966 World Cup Winners Medal awarded to Nobby Stiles was sold for £188,200 by Convery Auctions.
It was bought by Manchester United Football Club, where Stiles spend the majority of his career.
