News-Antique.com - Aug 19,2011 - Brian Kathenes and Leon Castner of National Appraisal Consultants are hosting a complimentary two-day appraisal mini-conference for their NAC Inner Circle Members. The free, hands-on event will include the identification, inspection, and appraisal of pianos and stringed instruments.
The main event consists of “air time” in the WNTI recording studios where appraisers will be interviewed by a professional newscaster to create their own radio interview. The final audio CD can be used to promote their businesses on their website, YouTube, Facebook, and on local radio stations.
It all starts Monday morning, October 3rd (all day and into the evening)

Piano expert Paul Simone of Vienna Piano will provide a hands-on morning session of piano identification, piano inspection, valuation techniques, and resources. A professional luthier (a stringed instrument repair expert) will discuss the identification, inspection and the appraisal of stringed instruments. We’ll cover violins, guitars, cellos, and banjos, etc.
