She was a teacher, scholar, researcher, traveler and student for most of her nearly 100 years of life. The amazing part of all of this is that her American Indian basket collection, the majority of her African arts and mask collection, as well as her sterling American Indian jewelry and so much more were lovingly donated by her daughter and granddaughter to a museum in Washington which brought her life full circle with where her own mother had started out her journey.
