Lot 1032. Crystal Palace Sterling Presentation Humidor - London (1909), by Joseph Braham. The humidor is engraved on right lid: "Crystal Palace. Presented to Ernest T. Jewell. Esq. by Officers, Staff and Friends connected with the Pageant of London. Festival of Empire." The left lid is engraved: "1911 ETJ." Jewell was general administrator for the Pageant of London, at the Crystal Palace. Accompanying lot is an unframed presentation on paper to Ernest Jewell, signed by 72 of his peers and dated July 1911, along with a professional appraisal. 4.5 x 13.5 in.
