The most notable Item up for auction is one of the original polychrome painted ceramic genie bottle from the set of I Dream of Jeannie currently on display in the entrance hallway of Larry Hagman's estate. The 1960’s iconic prop was used when the show switched to color, and replaced the original dark green Jim Beam liquor decanter with the more colorful pink bottle (est. $1,000-$2,000) Height, 14 1/2 inches.
In the true spirit of Dallas many important Western selections are highlighted in the sale including the magnificent Edward Bohlin Diamond Supreme sterling mounted parade saddle (est $60,000-$80,000). The Saddle has an all over diamond pattern, floral foliate engraving, and corner plates with embossed rodeo scenes. Marked “Bohlin Made/Calif. Hollywood/Sterling” and “Larry Hagman, 18 Dec. 1992.” 60 by 33 by 20 inches.
The Collection also includes guns, knives, artifacts, furnishings, and many custom cowboy hats and pairs of boots which are monogrammed for Larry Hagman or worn by Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing in Dallas.
The auction will also showcase items from the estate of Mary Martin, Hagman’s mother and acclaimed stage actress in her own right.
