News-Antique.com - Mar 14,2011 - The Cini Sterling bracelet designed and hallmarked by the Cini company which was founded by Guglielmo Cini, who was an Italian jewelry maker. He came to the United States in 1922 at the age of 17 and set up a shop in Boston Massachusetts, where he remained until 1957. During that time he and one of his designers, Felipe Mendosa, created both fine and costume jewelry using hand crafted, master jeweler techniques
Many of the Cini pieces are original creations. Most of the later pieces are signed “Cini” or “Cini Sterling”. Cini vintage jewelry is highly collectible today and sought after by avid collectors. The company went out of business in 1970. This bracelet has great patina which enhances it already beautiful design. It is HallMarked Cini Sterling. It has a safety chain which helps to identify it as a very good piece of jewelry. This bracelet is 7 ¼” long and 1 ¼ inches wide.
The German sterling with cabochon blue stones truly an outstanding piece of jewelry. It is artistically designed and the blue cabochon stones add just the correct amount of artistry. This piece of jewelry is circa late 1800’ to the early 1900. The sterling is beautifully crafted and presents the stones at their very best advantage. The bracelet identified as Wheat is by Danecraft from circa 1952 This beautiful Sterling Silver Wheat design was artistically inspired in Circa 1952 and was shown as DaneCrafts latest addition to their jewelrycourter in a magazine in 1952 lying on gray wool gloves. It is very detailed and definable as wheat with a safey chain and it has 6 links. It is 7 1/4" long 1 inch wide. This is a highly desirable sterling silver bracelet for those who like the classics.
