News-Antique.com - Mar 07,2011 - DENVER, Pa. – Dan Morphy, founder and CEO of Morphy Auctions, will be meeting with collectors in various U.S. and Canadian cities during the month of March. Morphy’s auctions a wide variety of antiques – toys, mechanical and still banks; mechanical, coin-operated and gambling machines; fine and decorative art, clocks, Americana and antique advertising; and quality collectibles. The company has set many world records, including the highest auction total for a single-owner, single-sale toy collection - $7.7 million achieved on Oct. 27, 2007 for the Stephen and Marilyn Steckbeck collection.
“I would welcome the opportunity to evaluate any and all collections, and to discuss the possibility of consigning it to one of our future auctions,” Morphy said. All consultations are kept strictly confidential, and there is no obligation whatsoever.
