News-Antique.com - Feb 26,2011 - A new social network dedicated to art and antiques is launching into public test this week. Joining the site is free, and we are asking the antiques community for feedback and input into finalizing the site prior to official launch.
You can of course buy and sell, and there will also be forums, blogs, groups and more.
Collectors will be able to get previews of listings for items in which they are interested before public listing. They will also be able to share and show off their collections as well as get identification and biographical help.
Dealers and service providers will get a very reasonable platform for selling their items and services as well as keeping in touch with their customers. In addition we have a unique advertising paradigm that lets users decide who can advertise on their pages, turning the general public into advocates for your items and services.
Joining for everyone is free and of course there is no commitment of any sort required. During the initial launch period all approved dealers will get a one year "premium" storefront for free as well as a free upgrade to "premium" for life.
