On Friday, August 6th, a large selection of American and Asian furniture, art, pottery, porcelain, glass, toys, lighting, sterling and advertising will be presented by Garth’s Auctions Inc. during its Eclectic Auction. The sale will include almost 1000 lots with many consigned from a wonderful West Virginia collection. As they say, there will be something for everybody from a Globe Wernicke 30-drawer cabinet file with fine tambour door to an authentic 1935 Old Spanish Trail Half Dollar to a large electrified dollhouse with furniture & accessories to an impressive mahogany sideboard.
“Our ‘general’ Eclectic Auctions are bimonthly and are intended to appeal to private collectors of all types as well as those in “the Trade”,” said Amelia Jeffers, President of Garth’s Auctions. “We want attract interior decorators and antique dealers looking for items to impress their choosiest clients to the weekend collector who is focused mainly on price and function.”
