News-Antique.com - Jul 05,2010 - Photo caption: Vintage Turquoise Ring Ware Pottery Pitcher. This pitcher measures 5'' tall and holds 24 ounces. It is unmarked, but is most similar to the Bauer pitcher pictured in Chipman's book on California pottery. (The early Bauer pitchers from the 1930s were unmarked.) Bauer made several sizes of pitchers and some originally had lids, which this does not. It has three stilt marks on the bottom. Except for faint age-related crazing and a small glaze flake on the interior this pitcher is in very good condition. Other competing California companies like Pacific and Garden City Pottery also made similar ring ware pitchers during the first part of the last century. This is a very nice vintage ring ware pitcher that seem to be difficult to find. See:
