The auction includes a near complete run of every Disney Classics Collection Figurines, the highest quality production of Disney characters from Mickey Mouse through the Lion King, most are sold out limited editions and hard to find.
Over 160 lots in groupings and singly, comprising over 800 figurines, will cover every Disney movie and TV show character, including Holiday groups, Disneyana Convention items and special editions.
Representing the 75 year history of Disney animation, collectors will find Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto, JIminy Cricket, Tinkerbell and Chip & Dale, along with movie favorites including "Snow White," "Fantasia," "Pinocchio," "Sleeping Beauty," "Lady & The Tramp," "Peter Pan" and "101 Dalmations," "Song of the South," "Jungle Book" and "Alice In Wonderland.
Also iproduced as figurines are scenes and characters from the "Silly Symphonies" and early cartoon shorts, along with the next generation of animation represented by "Beauty & The Beast," "Little Mermaid" and "Lion King." Even cult favorites such as "Nightmare Before Chrictmas" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" were immortalized in porcelain for this collection.
Also included at this auction will be other Disneyana including Animation cels such as the Couvasier framed Multi-plane cel from the short "Winken, Blinken & Nod" and a limited edition signed animation cel from "Sleeping Beauty" among other animation art. Disney drawings included World War Two era propaganda art by Hank Poster and other great Disney artists.
