Antiques in Charlottesville to Return for October Sequel
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, April 8, 2010—Back by popular demand, dealers will once again fill the ballrooms at the Holiday Inn University Center with antiques, fine art,
glassware, silver, oriental carpets and other luxury items. A sequel to the successful January show, Antiques in Charlottesville will return October 1-3, 2010.
“Charlottesville gave us a very warm welcome in January,” says show promoter Jay Melrose, partner in Melrose & Duddy. “It just didn’t seem fair to make everyone wait until next January for another show.”
Many of the exhibitors will return in October, with some new additions. Melrose described the interest in the fall show as “very strong,” and anticipates the space to fill up
quickly. The show will again feature the popular Designer’s Choice merchandise award program, ten-minute lectures and other attractions still being finalized. Hours for the show are still being determined.
