News-Antique.com - Mar 25,2010 - CHICAGO – Antique Trader, one of the most widely circulated weekly antiques and collectibles magazines, is joining the Randolph Street Market in a new media sponsorship for the 2010 show season. This strategic alliance will allow the Randolph Street Market advertising and access to Antique Trader’s readership in unprecedented methods during the crucial summer months to promote its portfolio of diverse events held in and around the greater Chicago area. As a result, Randolph Street Market dealers and members of the Indie Designer Show will enjoy a strong, multi-media advertising campaign nationwide.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Antique Trader and Randolph Street Market to interact with each other’s customer base in new and exciting ways,” Antique Trader Publisher Dianne Wheeler said. “Antique Trader can interact with its readers and meet new ones at monthly events and Randolph Street exhibitors can reach new customers through the magazine and online. Krause Publications is also exited to work with Randolph Street Market’s Indie designers, giving these artists a new platform and helping them launch their careers as important, new artists. This partnership is a perfect compliment to Antique Trader and its publisher, Krause Publications.”
Sally Schwartz, Owner/Promoter of the Randolph Street Market, commented: “Everyone's heard that knowledge is power and by having Antique Trader as our media sponsor, we are able to offer our attendees and dealers a direct connection to timely, useful information. Essentially, we've upped the wow factor exponentially at the Randolph Street Market by having Antique Trader as our media anchor. Many of our attendees are just getting into collecting and/or have inherited high quality collections, and are looking to us for guidance. Through the partnership with Antique Trader, we are thrilled to be able to offer the incredible brain trust and educational talent base of the many experts and specialists who research and write for the Antique Trader publications, and it’s various publications.”
The partnership kicks off April 17-18 during the Randolph Street Market’s highly anticipated Vintage Fashion Explosion, where nearly 100 vintage fashion dealers fill Chicago’s historic Plumber’s Hall, 1340 W.
