Our over three thousand square foot store is located in the North Lake Village section of Pasadena, California. Offer a wide selection of furniture, furnishings and china from many parts of the United States, England and Germany. In late November, we will also have an online store for the shopping convenience of those not able to visit our shop.
We are currently featuring a beautiful mahogany or dark walnut pre Civil War twin bed owned by one family for generations. Over sixty years ago, the family in possession of the bed had two young daughters and decided to have a reproduction of the bed built. They selected the furniture and casket maker S.D. Hanchett and Company Furniture of Eighth Street in Sheboygan, Wisconsin for the job. The result was a bed virtually identical to the original; the copy does not have a decorative medallion in the center of the headboard as does the original.
The family eventually moved to Altadena, California and later to Orange County. Now both beds are now here for sale as a pair only. The beds are in excellent condition and a wonderful example of antique furniture craftsmanship. The beds can be asssembled or disassembled without tools.
