News-Antique.com - Nov 07,2009 - The Yellow Garage Antiques Marketplace of Mullica Hill, NJ will hold their annual Black Friday sale and Open House on November 27th from 11am to 7pm. “Black Friday” is the day after Thanksgiving and was named this by merchants who would look forward to this as the day they were “in the black” for the first time during the year.
Besides the extra hours for this year’s event, many of the 35 dealers in The Yellow Garage will be on hand with fresh merchandise and special price considerations.
Quimper expert and author Joan Datesman of Annapolis, MD will be signing copies of her book “Collecting Quimper” and will be answering questions on the subject. Joan has recently joined the group shop and keeps a showcase stocked with many fine examples of the colorful French ceramics.
Live music by Sam Priem and refreshments will be served to round out the event.
