News-Antique.com - Aug 16,2009 - This 15-hour course presents an overview of the current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) regulations and guidelines, and fulfills the requirements of professional appraisal societies for designation and for USPAP continuing education. All personal property appraisers should take this course. There is a required exam, and participants will receive a Verification of Completion for their professional Continuing Education credits.
The course is sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, and will be taught by Bill Novotny, ISA AM, certified as a national USPAP instructor by the Appraiser Qualifications Board in Washington D.C. Note: This course will be taught from the perspective of personal property appraisers. Real estate appraisers are required to take a separate USPAP course taught from a real estate perspective.
Cost: $295 early registration ($325 if received after Sept. 1, 2009). Price includes USPAP books (provided at course site), continental breakfast, lunch & refreshments. Reservations are required.
