News-Antique.com - Aug 05,2009 - Whether you're on a vacation or a stay-cation in Central MA this weekend, you're not going to want to miss the Tailgate Antiques Sale being held at 699 West St. (RT 122) in Barre MA.
The event runs from 8:00am to 2:00pm, although dealers are encouraged to get there early for set-up.
The sale is being hosted by Bill Neylon, a long time antiques dealer and owner of Village Green Antiques, the business which sites at the location, and Cat Alley Antiques & Artisans, a business located on the Barre Common.
There's plenty of acreage and Bill is generously offering dealer space for FREE! The only thing he asks, is that you bring antiques, or vintage collectible items to sell.
The location is perfect for an antiques show, and he hopes it's something that he can run on a regular basis once a month during the climate weather. Although dates are not carved in stone, he says he hopes to run in Sept. and Oct. of this year.
With all the connections Bill has made in the business throughout the years, and his two local antiques shops to shore things up, I'm sure there will be plenty of dealers participating.
One of the best things about these tailgate sales is that you really never know who will show up with what!
Hit the road early, there should be some great yard sales along this busy route as well!
