Offered is an important painting by Andrew Melrose 'The Edge of The Wood' 1852, paintings by Joseph DeMartini, collection of paintings by Russian artist Boris Vassiloff, mixed media by Sarah Newman, illustration by Deane Cate for a Michener novel, Marc Chagall colored lithograph, Eskimo lithos by Bill Reid, many more paintings & engravings including a colection of 19 century botanicals.
The auction includes the complete household contents consisting of a 10 piece dining room set, carved oak china closet, marble top tables, Victorian chaise lounge, French Provincial bedroom furniture, more tables, chairs, gun cabinet, girl's bedroom set, paint decorated European bed room set, desks, bookcase, much more. Also, a dozen good quilts (some hand stitched), large boxes filled with embroidery, crochet items, more. Miscelaneous items: accordian, guitar, garden fountain, antique iron patio furniture, Hires rootbeer advertising thermometer, stained glass windows, Barbie #3 doll, a Life magazine from 1962 with a Mantle-Marris baseball card insert, grandfather's and mantle clocks, Antique books, collection of maps from the 1800's, and other great treasures not available in your shopping malls.
