I love vintage because it is elegant. It is rairly absurd.
Recently in Italy it has been very very hot and girls have been walking around half naked wearing cowboy style boots. Cowboy boots look great but in Italy’s Milan city streets in the middle of a heat wave that’s just crazy.
Another story; I was returning from central Italy on the highway. At a gass station I saw a guy pumping gass into a beautiful LAMBORGINI sports car (that’s money). He was wearing a 1,000 doller jacket and a pair of Blue Jeans full of holes. Do you think the poor guy couldn’t afford to buy himself a pair of jeans?
Now I hear some Designers are selling jeans so full of holes there is almost not enough material to keep the holes together.
I once read a Moschino button which read “Make love not Fashion”. At the time I couldn’t understand this statement from a Fashion King.
Now I think I understand what he wanted to say.
Fashion should make you feel great. Not suffer or ape people with real problems
