The site only started in February, so the creators are very pleased with the results.
Tammy Kahn Fennell, host of the show, says "I just love putting it together each week - it brings a lot of information to a lot of people, which is so important in the world of antiques and collectibles."
The show is currently completely free, and the creators do feel strongly about keeping it that way. Tammy Kahn Fennell was recently interviewed on Auction Wally's new show "The Selling Circus" where she was insistent about keeping it free.
"What we need are advertisers," Tammy said in the interview. "Now that the site is gaining more popularity we hope that research sites, appraisers, and people with online stores will start to take advantage of the great, targeted traffic."
A recent conversation with Mrs. Fennell about rates led to this reply "Right now we're charging $50 per month for the blogroll, with a 3 month commitment. We also are putting up banner ads which would be $100 per month, and would be prominently featured on the right side of the page. And, of course there's the best way to advertise - sponsoring the show which would run a company around $250 per show, 3 show commitment. Some of our episodes get embedded into well over 2,000 other sites so the exposure is pretty tremendous."
A new episode of Collectibles Corner TV comes out every tuesday morning.
