• Lot 446: Volcanic lever action repeating pistol SN 770 .41 Cal. with 8" barrel marked THE VOLCANIC REPEATING ARMS CO. PATENT NEW HAVEN, CONN. FEB. 18, 1854. Pistol remains in very good original condition with a pleasing gray to brown patina remaining on barrel and magazine, markings crisp and edges sharp. Brass frame shows an uncleaned deep patina with only light dings and mars as one would expect. Original rear sight, flat bottom varnished walnut grips are very good with unique period carved and inlaid ivory decoration to both sides. A fine untouched Volcanic with good smooth action and nice bore. NO FFL required.
