The TIAS "Hot List" has been published monthly since 2002. These monthly "Hot Lists" are based on hundreds of thousands of searches by people using the online search engines at the indicated Web sites. This months list is a bit different, because we are listing both December of 2008 and January of 2009. This will also allow you to see how categories have shifted position from month to month.
