an initial selection of lithographs by the artist are featured on the site. Andrus' work brought her from Minneapolis to the Hudson River Valley, and to New York where she studied at the Art Students League. Ultimately she opened her own gallery in Rockport, Massachusetts, where she worked until the 1970s.
The new site also features works from a number of other modernist 20th Century artists in paintings, sculpture and fine prints, such as noted Surrealist painter and printmaker Martin Barooshian, Conrad Buff, Murray Hoffman, Malvina Hoffman, Adolf Dehn, Jolan Gross Bettelheim, Raoul Dufy, and Clare Leighton. The site will continue to expand as more works are added.
"We are excited to launch our new web site and share our love of collecting 20th Century works with a global audience. We continue to be most drawn to works which reflect both fine art and design movements and social changes: Art Deco, WPA, Social Realism, Regionalism, Modernism, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and more," comments Fusco.
Tony Fusco and Robert Four are also the producers of the annual Boston International Fine Art Show (BIFAS), which had its 12th successful show this past November, and a new show, AD 20/21: Art & Design of the 20th & 21st Centuries, which launched in spring 2008, with the second annual show in Boston scheduled for March 26-29, 2009.
