major international auc
in 40 countries, with principal salesrooms located in New York, London, Hong
Kong and Paris. The Company also regularly conducts auctions in six other salesrooms around the world.
• As part of Sotheby’s global strategy, the Company opened new offices in Beijing and Moscow in 2007. In
October 2008 the Company announced plans to open an office in Qatar.
