Meticulous Engineer's Estate Sale Engineer collected thousands of old coins, used only the nicest Nikon SLR equipment, and kept many memories from living on Indian Reservations.
so much more. The coins alone will be worth the trip for some of you I’m sure.
The garage will house Christmas and holiday, cartoon glasses and tons of camera equipment, two shelves of near-perfect condition record albums, cast iron mechanical banks toy and bb-guns. Kitchen and many tools will be there as well as golf including old oak golf clubs and a leather bag. Many prints and pictures will grace the walls of the garage that would not fit on the walls of the house.
As one can see from the video and photos, the front living area is filled with American Indian colors and collections. We will sell paintings by original artists, some made for and signed to the family, pottery and ceramics as well as real turquoise and sterling handcrafted bracelets, necklaces and tourist jewelry for kids and adults. We have an early ’59 hand-carved totem pole signed and ready to mount, a huge signed pottery bowl and many small pieces as well. For those of you wanting to start your own American Indian collection, the family will sell a good-sized group of books on the subject matter.
Move to the middle room and find toys, dolls, kids books and gently used children’s playthings as well as a roll-top desk and bamboo dining set, cups and saucers and china in blue and white. Back on the sun porch dig through peasant clothing and costumes from Romania, loads of fabric, linens, hand-crocheted, needlework and colorful textiles. The room also offers a futon with pad, sewing machine and more books.
This estate sale has the flavor of a family that loved their heritage and travels through this life, a meticulous collector (Father) who looked after all of his items with the utmost care and coddling, taking special interest in labeling and keeping track of what went where and why. Expect many hand-written notes and perfect condition specimens when it comes to the camera equipment and records that barely look touched from the inside out.
