News-Antique.com - Nov 06,2008 - Manion’s International Auction House, Inc., worldwide leader in sales of historic military related items, has released their 2007-2008 German WWII Militaria Price Guide. It is now available from the militaria auction website – www.manions.com, as well as the publisher: www.marhistorical.com.
“Manion’s International has probably sold more military related collectibles than any other company in the world,” said President Jody Tucker. “We have a massive quantity of final value data, and are pleased to provide this information to collectors.”
Manion’s Online Realized Price guide has been available for some time, for a yearly fee, but the new price guide will serve as a hand-held tool specifically for the collector of WWII German military collectibles.
“When we decided to publish this price guide, the sheer volume of artifacts sold over the past year dictated we limit the data to a specific area of interest,” said Tucker. “We broker the sale of historic and military related collectibles from all time periods and countries, but the greatest demand was for a WWII German realized price guide.”
In a 16-month period of 2007 and 2008, the company sold over 50,000 items from this area of collecting interest, so the content was further restricted to categories from the first half of Manion’s German online auction catalog. Final value fees are included for: Edged weapons and accoutrements, helmet, visor and field caps, uniforms, shoes and boots, belts and buckles, field gear, personal items, optical equipment, communications and medical equipment, insignia, and gorgets.
“We plan to utilize feedback from this guide in the production of future editions,” said Tucker, “and hope to publish realized price guides in many areas including US military, scouting, and other collectibles.”
Manion’s WWII German 2007-2008 Price Guide is available for $29.99 + shipping, and can be ordered by visiting www.manions.com, or calling 866.626.4661.
