New UK Luxury Antiques Weekends for 2009 The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited, well known for its annual fine art and antiques fair held in association with LAPADA at Cheltenham Racecourse in the autumn, announces two new fairs for 2009.
News-Antique.com - Jun 30,2008 - After the success of the Luxury Antiques Weekend at Linden Hall, launched earlier this year near Morpeth in Northumberland, a number of antiques dealers have urged Ingrid Nilson to pursue her formula and introduce some more weekends. To this end, The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited is announcing two new Luxury Antiques Weekends at Kilhey Court, near Wigan and Hellaby Hall, near Sheffield.
“I have been encouraged by requests from dealers to organise a few more quality fairs,” explains Ingrid Nilson of The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited. “I firmly believe that now is the time to concentrate on the top end of the market and provide affluent visitors with prestigious events at carefully chosen venues.”
The Luxury Antiques Weekends cater for a maximum of 25 exhibitors from the BADA and LAPADA. These vetted events offer a variety of disciplines and are staged in luxurious hotels with leisure club facilities, easy access and parking. As with all the other fairs organised by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited, there will be professional, nationwide marketing campaigns for each new fair. These two new Luxury Antiques Weekends will slot in either side of The Luxury Antiques Weekend at Linden Hall, returning in mid March 2009 (13th-15th) . The first Luxury Antiques Weekend to kick off 2009 takes place at Kilhey Court, Standish, near Wigan in late January 2009 (23rd-25th). The Luxury Antiques Weekend at Hellaby Hall, Rotherham opens towards the end of April 2009 (24th-26th).
The Esher Hall Antiques and Fine Art Fair, also launched earlier this year, moves to October in 2009 (9th-11th) and caters for around 45 specialist exhibitors.
The Autumn Antiques and Fine Art Fair, in association with LAPADA, which is being held for the fifth time this year from Thursday 27 until Sunday 30 November 2008 at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse, is the largest event organised by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited, catering for around 60 dealers from LAPADA, CADA and the BADA. The dates for the Cheltenham fair in 2009 will remain in late November (26th-29th).
