It is in excellent condition. The French company, Rambouillet, has been selected as the sole replicator of the famous tapestries in the museums of France. Each reproduction matches the originals right down to each imperfection, watermark, etc. The originals, by French law, are not allowed to be sold or removed from the country. This Rambouillet tapestry of the Chasse De Maximilien Le Rapport, was originally woven at the Gobelin factory in the 1600's. The scene depicts the preparation for a hunt, and includes gentlemen on horses, hunting dogs, and buildings in the background. Trees and lush foliage is exhibited throughout the scene. H=87 1/2, W=107.
Louis XVI Style Demi Lune Buffet - $4,112.50 - Antique Louis XVI style demi-lune server is made of mixed woods, veneers, bronze and copper ormolu. The marble top that rests on top is original to the piece. However, it was repaired at some point in its history. The interior of this buffet had mirrors and lighting added at one point. This piece dates back to the early 1800's. The ormolu is very finely chased. Whether larger or smaller in mass, the bronze retains a high degree of intricate detail. From the tiny veins in the leaves and flowers, to the miniscule 3 ornamental moldings, the chiseller was extraordinary. There are many motifs, and all are Louis XVI style. H=44-1/4, W=45-3/4, D=19- 3/8.
Omega Seamaster Automatic - $2,232.50 - Omega Seamaster Automatic, circa 1955 has a 19 jewel rotor type Swiss automatic movement that is running well and keeping good time. The watch has an18K solid yellow-gold case that has white gold on the lug tops and a diamond bezel with an Omega marked crown. The Caliber number 501 adjusted 5 positions and temperatures. The dial is silver with gold applied markers and is stunning. The Omega symbol is in mint condition. The dial also has green luminous at every marker. The hands are gold with green luminous as well. The band has been replaced and is a striking black genuine lizard band. Size 33.5 x 43.5 mm.
