From the quintessential American jeweler David Webb, a ruby and cultured pearl
necklace commissioned by Doris Duke (estimate: $80,000-120,000), is a wonderfully
striking jewel for collectors. Known for his strong designs and popularity amongst
celebrity clientele, this necklace is made of 14 cultured pearls and 1,136 rubies. From
the House of Winston, the sale offers a pair of cultured pearl and diamond ear
pendants designed as a marquise and pear-shaped diamond cluster with
interchangeable black or white cultured pearl drops and pavé-set diamond cap
(estimate: $200,000-300,000). Tiffany & Co. is represented by an extremely fine
Colombian emerald and diamond ring of 7.86 carats (estimate: $250,000-350,000).
