DANBURY, CT… Returning to the Police Athletic League Building, 35 Hayestown Road in Danbury, CT for the 8th edition, Cord Shows LTD. presents 10,000 square feet brimming with style from the Victorian era through the 1980’s. Regular show hours are from 10 AM – 5 PM Saturday and Sunday, April 6th and 7th with a jump-start at 8:30 AM Saturday for $15 (refreshments included). Regular admission is $7 (12 and under are free). On Sunday Cord Shows invites all high school and college students with photo ID, to come as their guests to Recycle in Style.™
The weekend will feature new dealers and familiar dealers. A few include Shannon and Richard Dalton (Funky Fashions, Brick, NJ) specializing in vintage lingerie, men’s and women’s clothing from the 1940’s-60’s, buttons, and fabric; Marcia Chaloux (Cherished Treasures, Newtown, CT) will return with a booth full of vintage jewelry while Jean Maimone (Vintage Gems, Pawling, NY) will bring vintage and costume jewelry, purses, belts and accessories. Sheryl and Vic Muzzillo (Queen Ann’s Laces, Prospect, CT) will bring jewelry, buttons, textiles, clothing and smalls; Raymond Baylis (Shamung, NJ) offers vintage clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Maggie Ducey (Maggies Farm, Sugar Loaf, NY) also offers lingerie, shoes, bags, hats and textiles while The Edens (LI, NY) present a dazzling display of diamond antique and estate jewelry. Elaine Herzog (Miss Elly's Antiques and Such, Hawley, PA) will include dresser jars and head vases as part of her display while Karen Redinger (Litchfield, CT) offers textiles including 50's tablecloths, linens and clothing. Martin Watkins (Little Journey's Antiques, Chester, CT) will bring gold jewelry from Victorian to Art Deco plus signed silver jewelry up to the 70's including sought after Mexican pieces.
