The Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale at Christie's will take place on Tuesday November 6 at 6.30 pm. A press conference will follow the auction and results will be sent out by email later the same evening.
The pre-sale total estimate for the Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale is $350/480 million. Highlights include an exquisite group of works by Cézanne, led by a superbly serene portrait of Vallier, Cézanne’s gardener; two ravishing Odalisques by Matisse and Picasso; Modigliani's powerful portrait of the sculptor Oscar Miestchaninoff and a dreamy view of Cassis by Paul Signac.
The viewing started today and will be open to the public until Tuesday noon. If you are in the neighborhood, do come by and visit. The exhibition looks stunning & beautiful and we feel privileged to be able to share the magnificence of these works with you.
